Job Description
Room Leader
A Room Leader is required to manage the 2-3\'s room in a beautiful, well-resourced Nursery.
You will be responsible for all apsects of the daily running of the room, including overseeing up to 5 staff.
Previous Room Leader experience is desirable, but not essential, for this position.
The Room Leader will have a good understanding of the curriculum as well as the ability to meet the needs of the children in the room.

You will inspire your colleagues and ensure the children benefit fully from every learning opportunity available throughout their day, as well as ensure parents receive an excellent childcare service from all within your room.
Some of your responsibilities as a Room leader will include:
To ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment
To lead your team in order for them to plan, prepare and review the curriculum as a team reflective of the EYFS
To work in partnership with the parents
To follow and implement all the policies and procedures set out by the nursery
To lead the team in your room, providing day to day guidance for your staff where needed
You will need to have the following qualifications, training and experience:
Qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
Have experience of working with children
